In 2nd Corinthians 9, verse 11, Paul wrote:
“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”
On Sunday, September 22, at 5:00 pm, Rev. Andrew Warner will present “Leaving a Legacy; the spirituality of generosity and the practicalities of making a legacy gift.” The Stewardship Committee encourages all of you to join us for Rev. Warner’s presentation.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about leaving a gift to the church in your will. As followers of Christ, we are called upon to serve those less fortunate then us. Our local and global missions are a reflection of Jesus’s call to ministry. Even a small gift can make a major impact on someone’s life.
We hope you will join us Sunday evening the 22nd. There is a sign-up sheet in the back of the church so that we can plan for the dinner which will be served prior to the presentation. You can also call the church office.
