Original 1861 Stone Church Building. |
In August of 1861 a new 26 by 42 foot stone church building was dedicated to the service of the Triune God on the site of the present church.

Parsonage 1862 to 1909 |
The following year a parsonage was built which was later moved to the southern part of Sauk City and is still habitable.

Parsonage 1909 to 1959 |
In 1909 the present parsonage was built debt-free at a cost of $1,450.00. The following year a barn was built. |

On May 11 the last services were held in the old church, at which Robert Buerki, an elder of the church and since 1885 the faithful secretary of the congregation, gave a German address; and the Pastor spoke on the Scripture passage 1 Sam. 7:12. In this work, and in the digging of the basement and hauling of the material for the new building, the members gave able assistance. Due to this donated labor the church was built for the surprisingly low cost of $15,000.00. On August 3, 1913 the corner stone was laid. The dedication occurred on Sunday, February 22, 19l4, with the Rev. H C Nott of Milwaukee preaching the sermon. |
