H.E.L.P. Program
Members and friends of First UCC continue to support the Help Excite Little People project. "Elves" help to sort, wash, repair, or organize items for distribution. Many new items and a large variety of things in excellent condition are donated. Then the adults pick out gifts for their families children. This project continues to be a valuable one in our community, as we are able to brighten the holidays for many area youth.
Members in Ministry
Sends welcome packages to new residents / prospective members, provides care rides, care meals and visits to shut-ins and those recovering from surgery or illness. Like to visit with folks? We could use some more Care Visitor volunteers.
Prayer and Care Circle
The Prayer and Care Circle prays for and sends cards or makes visits to those who have had surgery, an illness, lost a loved one, been blessed with a new baby, or have any special needs.
We are always looking for new members for the calling chain. Members receive a phone call asking them to pray for a person in need (and if possible send a card or pay a visit to that person), then call the next person on the list. Please contact the church office if you would like to help.
